Hi, I am Martin.

I have been working as a software engineer for four years and studied software engineering at FH Hagenberg, where I completed my master's degree. Most of my professional experience so far has been at one company, mainly in frontend engineering.

A lot of what keeps me interested in software happens outside work as well. I am constantly trying things out in my free time, building small ideas, exploring tools, and following my curiosity into different parts of software development, systems architecture, AI, and automations.

This site is a small place to collect some of that work and some of the things I am learning along the way.

Photography

Photography is one of the things I am learning more seriously right now. It gives me a slower way to pay attention, to notice light, framing, timing, and the small details that are easy to miss otherwise.

I am still early in that journey, which is part of what makes it interesting. You can have a look at what I am photographing right now on the pictures page.

Musikkapelle Eggendorf

Ein wichtiger Teil meiner Zeit fließt in die Musikkapelle Eggendorf. Seit 2016 engagiere ich mich dort ehrenamtlich und übernehme Aufgaben als Schriftführer, Medienreferent und EDV Zuständiger.

Ich spiele selbst Trompete und mache das schon, seit ich acht Jahre alt bin. Dadurch ist die Kapelle für mich nicht nur ehrenamtliche Arbeit, sondern auch ein sehr persönlicher Teil meines Alltags.

Diese ehrenamtliche Arbeit ist für mich mehr als nur Organisation im Hintergrund. Sie verbindet Verantwortung, Gemeinschaft und vieles von dem, was mir auch sonst wichtig ist: Dinge verlässlich umzusetzen, Strukturen aufzubauen und den Verein im Alltag mitzutragen.
